What you will do...

Discover the diverse city of Athens. Athens is not only famous for its historical monuments. Visit the imposing Acropolis, dazzled from different angles in the city and still enthroned over the city as a reminder of the beauty and glory of ancient Athens.


Drive to Olympieion, the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and Panathinaiko Stadium. 

In this birthplace of a worldwide tradition, the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. To the tomb of the unknown soldier in front of the parliament building at Syntagma Square. Then, we will follow the drive to Panepistimiou Boulevard along the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy of Athens, the University and the National Library.

Acropolis:


We will visit the Acropolis, the most iconic ancient landmark of Athens, rising majestically on a rocky outcrop above the city. Known as the “holy rock,” it is home to some of the most important monuments of classical antiquity, including the Parthenon, the magnificent temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. A visit to the Acropolis offers the opportunity to admire the extraordinary architectural achievements of the ancient Greeks while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views over modern Athens, highlighting its enduring religious, cultural, and historical significance.

The company has no influence over the operation of the elevator. A medical certificate stating the mobility limitation is required in order to be entitled to use the Acropolis elevator
