Guest Experience Letter: "Our Accessible Journey Through Greece".

"I would like to thank you for the wonderful trip to Greece. I was very impressed with the time and effort that was put into even the smallest details to make the trip enjoyable and relaxing.

First, I would like to thank you for the quality of the hotels you picked. Each of the hotels had supportive staff who worked hard to make staying in their hotels a pleasure. They had their own unique characteristics, but they all were comfortable and provided a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.  Although the hotel in Meteora was not ADA compliant, it was my favorite hotel because of its local charm, and the staff worked hard to be accommodating and pleasant.  The breakfasts in each of the hotels were delicious and had a wide array of food choices. (I will especially miss the Greek yogurt!)

The entire itinerary was carefully thought out and made for interesting, informative, and fun travel. Despite all of us teasing Andy mercilessly about his love of museums, I enjoyed the museums and very much appreciated the guides. I especially liked the guides at the Archeological Museum in the Acropolis and the Archaeological Museum in Thessaloniki. I thought it was very generous of you to treat us to dinner at the end of the trip, and I enjoyed chatting with your friend.

More importantly, I can’t fully express my appreciation for Yuri and Pavlos. They were knowledgeable, charming, patient, and they both had a wonderful sense of humor. They worked very hard to anticipate everyone’s needs and to be sure that even minor details were taken care of with grace and professionalism. I felt as though they diligently worked to make sure that each of us had a wonderful experience and they were attentive and kind.

Yuri patiently loaded and unloaded luggage at every stop; helped with the wheelchairs, shared his knowledge, and drove on perilously narrow roads with skill and aplomb. He encouraged me to walk up the hill at Meteora and took me under the waterfall. I enjoyed both experiences and appreciated him taking the time with everything else going on to do this with me. Both he and Pavlos helped with making the hotel in Meteora accessible for Maureen and Andy, even after driving all afternoon. They did it with grace and care. I appreciated his quiet demeanor and gentle kindness throughout the trip.

Pavlos was also attentive and kind. He was knowledgeable, caring, and very patient. He helped with the wheelchairs and answered our endless questions. I especially appreciated the care he gave to Maureen. He pushed her wheelchair through the museums and answered her questions. By taking care of her, I was able to move around the museum more fully and also enjoy our time together.  Like Yuri, he had a kind demeanor that made the person talking with him feel that he was truly listening and enjoyed being with them. (This is no small feat after traveling in close proximity for ten days!) He also paid close attention to small details: buying desserts for us at different spots, ordering a traditional meal we all shared, and making sure that he was attentive to even the smallest details. Laura and I were both amused when Yuri and Pavlos followed us around with umbrellas when it was raining. Definitely VIP treatment!

Thank you for the wonderful trip! I wanted you to know how much I appreciated the careful and thoughtful planning, from arranging the itinerary, to picking the hotels, to providing comfortable transportation, and to having exceptional men who traveled with us. I have traveled extensively and taken guided trips before – your trip outshone all my other experiences!"
