My City for All
Local Voices
My City for All is a social tourism initiative under the CareunderSun brand that offers guided city tours led by disabled residents.
Currently growing across Greece, the project invites visitors to explore each destination through the eyes of people who live there and experience the city’s culture, history, and everyday life from an inclusive perspective.
Each experience is shaped by the guide’s personal relationship with their city, its history, culture, daily life, challenges, and hidden stories.
For Everyone, Without Limits
These are not standard sightseeing tours. Each experience is shaped by the guide’s personal relationship with their city, its history, culture, daily life, challenges, and hidden stories. Visitors gain deeper insight, while guides become active ambassadors of their own communities.
Despite its roots in accessible tourism, My City for All is designed for all travelers. The tours are open to anyone seeking genuine experiences, social connection, and a different way of discovering a city. Accessibility is an added value, not a limitation.
The project promotes:
-
Inclusive and responsible tourism
-
Equal participation in the tourism economy
-
Meaningful interaction between visitors and local communities
Real Experiences
All guides are trained and supported by CareunderSun, ensuring high-quality experiences while empowering disabled individuals through employment, visibility, and professional development.
By choosing My City for All, travelers:
-
Support social inclusion
-
Experience cities beyond traditional narratives
-
Contribute to a more open and sustainable tourism model

Cities belong to everyone. Experiences should too.
In the first phase of the My City for All project, four local guides have been trained to become experts in welcoming visitors and guiding them through their own cities. The program is currently active in Athens, Thessaloniki, Crete, and Drama, where these local experts provide tourists with authentic insights, cultural stories, and personal perspectives. By exploring the cities with guides who know them intimately, visitors gain a deeper understanding of each destination beyond traditional sightseeing.
Walk with us
In the future, the My City for All project aims to expand through digital upgrades and the creation of an international guide network, distributing the product through multiple channels and leveraging modern technologies. The network’s hubs are expected to spread across all continents, providing local people the opportunity to train and become certified guides for tourists and travelers, regardless of physical or other limitations.
The initiative is designed to ensure fair financial benefits, creating sustainable income opportunities for guides while promoting inclusion and local engagement. By combining technology, training, and global reach, the project seeks to empower local communities, share authentic experiences, and make inclusive tourism accessible worldwide.
