The Program

Day 1 Welcome to Athens!


Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a CareunderSun staff member. As you embark on a 30-minute drive to your hotel, take in the captivating scenery of Athens' streets.

Athens, brimming with history and mythology, is a vibrant city adorned with bustling outdoor cafes and pedestrian-friendly streets that meander through ancient sites. It is a city that thrives on urban eccentrics, diversity, and striking contrasts. In the afternoon, in close proximity to the hotels, you can indulge in the accessible beach experience with Seatrac. Depending on your arrival time, another option is to book a half-day excursion to witness the highlights of Athens.

Day 2 Athens - Mykonos



Transportation will be provided from your hotel or the airport to the port of Piraeus. From there, you will embark on a ferry journey to Mykonos, where you will be treated to breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and pass by numerous rocky islands. As you arrive on this cosmopolitan island, you will be greeted by its stunning whitewashed vistas. Mykonos is renowned for its idyllic beaches and vibrant atmosphere, offering something for everyone. Whether you're looking to shop, explore the winding streets with their whitewashed houses, or uncover hidden gems, this island has it all. Additionally, upon request, transportation to a beach equipped with Seatrac (available from May to October) can be arranged.

Day 3 MYKONOS



This wonderful tour offers you the chance to explore the stunning landscapes and beaches of Mykonos Island, while also taking a leisurely stroll through its capital. Traverse the picturesque side roads of the island and embark on a breathtaking scenic journey.

Our first stop is Agios Yiannis, where you can admire the panoramic view of the neighboring island of Delos. We will pause briefly to take in the sights before proceeding to the beautiful Kalafatis beach. From there, we will make our way to the charming village of Ano Mera. Here, you will have time to explore the delightful square, surrounded by traditional taverns, or visit the 16th-century Panagia Tourliani Monastery.

Afterwards, we will meander through the enchanting old town of Mykonos. Walk along the narrow, whitewashed streets adorned with cubic-shaped houses, and immerse yourself in the beauty of this original Cycladic fishing village. The tour highlights include stops at the Windmills, Little Venice, and the iconic Paraportiani church.

Day 4 Mykonos to Santorini



Today, we set sail from Mykonos to the magnificent island of Santorini, often hailed as "the Jewel of the Aegean." Upon reaching Santorini, transportation will be readily available to take you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind by the pool, basking in the tranquility, or venture out to explore and uncover the enchanting beauty of this mesmerizing island.

Day 5 Santorini



Today, we have the pleasure of immersing ourselves in the awe-inspiring beauty of Santorini Island, which boasts incredible views, black sandy beaches, and a plethora of activities. This Cyclades island, located in the Aegean Sea, was shaped by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century, giving rise to its captivating and rugged landscape. During our half-day tour, you will witness firsthand why the scenery of Santorini has served as an inspiration for countless postcard illustrations.

The island's two main towns, Thira and Oia, are nestled on the cliffs' slopes overlooking a submerged caldera (crater). Here, you will encounter striking white, cubic-shaped houses that exude charm and elegance. From these vantage points, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the sea, the small islands dotting the western horizon, and the beaches adorned with black, red, and white lava rocks.

Day 6 Santorini


Today relax and enjoy the amazing views, black sandy beaches, and more of the activities that Santorini Island has to provide. Admire the panoramic view of the island’s submerged volcano and wonder whether mythical Atlantis was indeed Santorini.

The following alternatives can be arranged:

1. Transportation to a beach (May - October) with Seatrac.

2. In the afternoon a Sailing tour of the coastline of Santorini Island.

3. Visit the winery, find out about the secret of wine production on the volcanic island and enjoy the sunset with beautiful views.

Day 7 SANTORINI - ATHENS

 

You will be met at the hotel and transported to the port of Santorini to catch the ferry and sail back to the port of Piraeus.

After arrival in Athens you will be  met at the port and transported to your booked hotel in Athens or to the airport.

Depending on the time of departure, you have the option to book a half day excursion and experience more of what Athens has to offer.
