What you will do...
You will visit Kamiros is a small rural area next to Iallysos and Lindos, one of the three cities of ancient Rhodes. From the city, an extensive excavation area has remained on the west coast of the island, which is a vivid example of an ancient city. After visiting the imposing and well-preserved ancient city of Kamiros, we continue to Rhodes' inland.Â
In Rhodes we'll arrive at the village of Embona, where a local specialty museum and manufacture of local products such as honey, souma, wine and many authentic specialties can be tasted. You'll learn how the production process makes good use of old and traditional methods. The museum shop also offers a variety of products to take with you back home.
The village of Embona is known for its traditional cuisine and dishes prepared to original recipes. and you'll have the opportunity to taste these amazing flavors. On the way back, we'll make a stop in the picturesque region of Kritinia.

Kamiros:

As you explore the site, you'll encounter remnants of temples, sanctuaries, and various other structures, giving you a glimpse into the religious practices and rituals of the ancient inhabitants. The Temple of Athena Kameiras, dedicated to the city's patron goddess, is among the notable religious buildings that have been unearthed.
Embona:
Located in the heart of the island, Embona is known for its traditional character, picturesque landscapes, and warm hospitality. Situated at an elevation of around 850 meters, Embona offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. The village is renowned for its wine production, and it's a perfect destination for wine enthusiasts
