Therefore, simple, clear, and carefully adaptable practice is offered by our specialized and experienced accessible yoga teacher during the retreat. Regardless of ability, state of health, or body type we want to share the praxis of yoga with people of all abilities and backgrounds. Taking the advantage of Yoga with the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual benefits, we invite you to our first accessible yoga retreat in beautiful Loutraki, Greece.

We believe that we all have an equal right to access a safe space and take a moment to be mindful of ourselves. Everyone dreams about a relaxing holiday at the beach, and it is achievable with the achieved accessibility that fits individuals' needs. You might imagine that yoga is difficult for you, but yoga can be also experienced by everyone, no matter what their physical ability is. The matter is that “yoga” is the state when mind-body-soul is united. When your mind is calm and your heart is at peace, that is “yoga”. By combining accessible holiday facilities, diverse yoga practices, and a beautiful way of Greek living, we are sure that you will experience a mindful moment for the whole week.

OUR YOGA TEACHER
Rin was born in Japan and with a journey of experiences after living in different countries, she is settled at the heart of Europe / Belgium.
After she obtained an academic degree in sport sciences, especially adapted physical activity, Rin entered her yoga journey in 2016 and studied yoga in Nepal. She follows the passion of creating an inclusive space where everyone with or without disabilities has a chance to be mindful, feel peace, and achieve an active lifestyle through yoga.
Moreover, she acts to spread the mystical power of yoga to as many people as possible. Doing what she loves, she daily teaches yoga to different populations with different needs.

Loutraki is located only 80 kilometers west of Athens on the Gulf of Corinth, Greece. This lively little seaside resort, dotted with natural, therapeutic, thermal springs, is visited by people from all over the world who take advantage of the wonderful, modern spa resort. Back in ancient Greece Loutraki was known as Thermal Artemis, which found fame through these natural, therapeutic thermal springs.
The fertile and fruitful ground of the region is the birthplace of premium quality local products with incomparably high nutritional value. This little piece of paradise is called Loutraki, translated into English as “small bath”.
Accommodation in the Retreat
The Resort is located in a quiet area 10 Km from Louraki at a private beach. It is the wonderful result of a vision, a sense of a true paradise surrounded by the spectacular scenery of nature at its best!
The wheelchair-accessible hotel is a complex of 5 fully accessible and equipped apartments, built according to the highest standards so as to provide easy access to wheelchair users and people with physical impairments. The resort is designed to offer a perfect combination of accessibility and comfort from your apartment to the sea.
Apartments Capacity: 1-4 persons, up to 1 in wheelchair (or up to 2 if sharing the same bed)
Description: one accessible double bedroom (with double bed), double bedroom (with double bed or two single beds) not accessible to wheelchair users, living room with two couches with air condition and fireplace, fully – equipped kitchen, bathroom, balcony with view to the sea. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Apartments Capacity: 1-3 persons, up to 1 in wheelchair
Description: living room with one single Electric Bed accessible to wheelchair and one couch with air conditioning and fireplace, one double bedroom (double bed) not accessible to wheelchair users, kitchen, bathroom, and balcony with a view of the sea. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Apartment Capacity: 1-8 persons, up to 4 in wheelchair
Description: four accessible double bedrooms (2 with double beds – 2 with two single beds),
2 bathrooms (one of them adapted for wheelchair users), a large living room with a dining table and TV, a central fireplace, a kitchen, and a balcony with a view to the sea.

Equipment for yoga
We ask you to bring: comfortable clothes and your own yoga mat if you have a specific one.
Basic equipment such as blankets, cushions, and mats will be provided.
